It is wonderful to be back in Romania with the FFH 2017 Team. It has been so great seeing my Romanian friends again after 5 years! I am so thankful to have my husband Johnny and daughter Sarah on the trip this time. Since our safe arrival on Thursday 3/9, we have been busy. Friday we spent preparing for the Pastors Conference that took place all day Saturday. I had the privilege of speaking to the Romanian Pastor’s wives during the conference. Surprisingly it is harder to speak for 15 minutes than i thought?!
I think I have already gained 5 pounds from the 3-course meals that we are served by our wonderful home church staff at Emanuel Baptist Church.
Sunday we had church in the morning at EBC and went to Sunday evening church at a new village church in Nojorid supported by EBC.
Monday, we traveled by bus to the village of Vasad. The team did some home visits and then held a bible school for the village kids, a women’s session and at 4 pm a church service where people from multiple villages attended. The whole day was such a blessing!
Please keep our team in your prayers as a stomach bug hit many of our members during the first few days of the trip. Everyone seems to be good now, so pray we all remain healthy for the remainder of the trip.
