It is hard to believe that our trip to Romania is coming to an end. I have been looking forward to this trip since we had to leave early in 2020 due to COVID. It is always a blessing to serve the Lord alongside my family. I am thankful for my parents who faithfully plan these trips each year. I am also thankful that I have been able to go on several of these trips with my wife and children. There is no experience quite like doing ministry together!

I was trying to think of what the greatest highlight was from this year’s trip, and I simply can’t come up with an answer. There have been so many great ministry opportunities, answers to prayer, and a team that bonded so closely together. God has been at work, both in the lives of those we’ve ministered to, as well as the individuals that make up our team. I feel like every year I pray to bless those that we minister to, yet I always feel like I have get blessed far beyond anything.

One theme that has stood out to me this trip is “hope.” I cannot imagine what life would be like without a relationship with Christ. He is faithful in all things and worthy to be praised. It is encouraging to know that no matter what, there is hope. Those that do not have Christ have no hope. It is important that we share this Hope, the only Hope with others.
