It’s been a fast trip and it is coming to a close very quickly. Soon our team will be headed home to our “normal” lives. But we will all take with us precious memories of Romania. Memories from time with long time friends and even new friends as well as memories from times in ministry either in a church or a gypsy village or simply remembering the things God did in unique ways.
It is almost impossible to forget the faces and the places and the sights and the smells of Romania. While the countryside is shockingly beautiful, some places are not. There seems to almost be an oxymoron between the beauty of the country and some of the villages. How can one be so attractive and the other so heart wrenching?
But, thankfully, God sees the beauty in ashes or has a way of turning the ashes of peoples lives into something beautiful. While here these days, our team has tried to show lost people God and His beauty and the beauty of what it means to be saved and a part of His family while at the same time encouraging the saints.
We have tried to do that with testimonies and songs and art and the Word of God all wrapped into one. We pray as we leave here that God has accomplished His purposes through all the travel and changes and delays, etc. Our faith is strong because we believe in a God who can do the impossible and take what little we have to offer and use it for saving souls and bringing glory to Himself.
Just a few pictures to put images in your mind to pray. Pray for the least of these and for the glory of God to shine in their hearts. Even if their lives are not so great.
