By God’s grace, Mary, myself, and Maria Grace are safely in Romania. We look forward to singing and sharing in a number of churches here tomorrow, as well as having fellowship with many of our dear Romanian friends. We are praying for the wonderful team that will be joining us over the next few days. May the Lord break our hearts for the orphan, the widow, the abandoned, the poor, the broken, and the lost.
Feeling blessed and incredibly humbled after this first day of village visits in Piscolt and Andrid, Romania. We were privileged to meet, share Christ, and visit with people in these villages who were truly in need of medicines, bread, and a Bible! Local village women also received umbrellas and scarves this day, while we got to make their little ones smile with stuffed animals! They were sincerely happy and thankful to receive these humble gifts and it truly touched and changed my heart! I know I have repeated myself with the words ‘thankful’ and ‘humble’, but those are simply the truest words to describe today (Wednesday, March 8, 2017).
Matt. 25:35-37, 40 (Jesus talking with His desciples) “For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to me. Then the righteous will answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or naked, and clothe you? And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, if you did it to me”.
